Such a tap has a longer shank and a western (calibrating) cutting part.
A three-tooth countersink with a conical shank is used to increase the diameters of cylindrical holes in order to increase their accuracy and surface cleanliness. It allows to obtain a hole of the 4th class of accuracy and the cleanliness of the processed surface within the range of 3-5th classes.
